HOWZIT HONG KONG !
Howzit Hong Kong !
Howzit Julle!

This website is, in part, the result of what is probably the biggest sports event for South Africa this year: The 2007 Rugby
World Cup.  For about six weeks, a few die-hard South African Springbok Supporters gathered religiously at
Delaney's Irish
Pub
in Wan Chai. I know because I was probably the first one there, weekend after weekend!
I was so impressed by the fervour shown by these Saffas that I decided to find a way to not only continue the contacts we
made over the six weeks, but widen the net, so to speak, to include the whole Hong Kong as well as Macao.  Welcome to
Howzit Hong Kong!
A lot of us have been living the expatriate life for quite a
number of years. We have also tried to keep our links with
home, our South African culture, as well as with other South
Africans in which-ever country we found ourselves in. Here in
Hong Kong and Macao there are several ways in which to
achieve the above:

1. Register your details with the
South African Consulate
2. Join the South African Associations in HK & Macao
3. Register for the
Howzit Hong Kong! Online Newsletter.

Lastly, this venture has to be guided and supported by you, the
South African living in Hong Kong & Macao. If you have any
contribution such as stories, events, pictures etc. please
Contact Us and we'll spread the word.
South Africa.info

In case you didn't know, www.southafrica.info (also known as The Official
Gateway to SA) is a great resource for everything about home, especially
for the South African expatriate.

Do you know the SA National Anthem?

In preparation for the last two rugby
internationals in December (SA vs. Wales
& SA vs. Barbarians) as well as next year's
HK Sevens, here's a video that can help
you learn the SA National Anthem.
