The Draw took place on Sunday February 24, 2008 at the
King's Park Sports Ground.  The event was officiated over by
Ruth Mitchell, HKRFU Director of Development, Robbie
McRobbie, HKRFU Community Rugby Manager and well as the
representative of title sponsor Cable & Wireless.

Ruth Mitchell, in her address thanked Cable & Wireless for their
commitment to Women's Rugby by sponsoring the event for the
fifth consecutive year.
While the Draw took place in a light-hearted spirit, members of
the home team were visibly anxious about where they would be
drawn. Sighs of relief were evident all-round when Hong Kong
was drawn in Pool A with the USA and Netherlands.

The event will be contested by a total of twelve teams with the
ladies from France making their debut in 2008.  Other teams
include the Arabian Gulf (AGRFU), Canada, China, Japan,
Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Singapore, Thailand and the USA.
The two remaining teams are hosts Hong Kong, as well as Fiji
who returns to the SAR after their debut at the 1997 Inaugural
Tournament.

Recreation Ground (adjacent to the HK Stadium) with the final
to be contested at the main Hong Kong Stadium at 6:42pm

Sondag namiddag-rugby op King's Park

Sondag Februarie 24, 2008 was Howzit HongKong! se heel
Ho Man Tin Distrik.

Net net is daar 2 rugby-velde

opwarming, vaardigheids-oefeninge asook ernstige wedstryde.

families geniet by King's Park.
